So today… I actually worked on my own car.
Can’t get the horn to work, despite replacing it. Fitted a proper set up for the screen washers, rather than a mk5 washer/pump bottle jammed on the inside of the door pocket, then did the bonnet bungees, the added an auxiliary mirror so I can see the left rear corner and refitted the door mirror Helen pulled off, trying to adjust it. Overall quite pleased with myself. Got to get a new front indicator unit and bits from Smiffy’s Bits – Classic Mini & Bond Bug Car Parts & Accessories , felicity isn’t overheating either, the gauge is fubar and its got the later sender in the head.
